For dangerous Firefighting Operations
MAGIRUS Wolf R1: A Tactical Response Robot Equipped with a FireDos M2 Monitor
With the MAGIRUS Wolf R1, developed and built by Alpha Robotics Germany GmbH & Co.KG, the fire / rescue services now have a tool for mission support and the sustainable protection of emergency personnel. The Wolf R1 operational robot is equipped with a FireDos M2 firefighting monitor, and in the future it will also be optionally available with a FireDos M1 firefighting monitor.
Robustly equipped for risky operations
The Wolf R1 operational robot is used for high-risk reconnaissance and security activities as well as for dangerous firefighting operations. The battery-powered track vehicle is highly maneuverable off-road and has many different equipment features, such as a robot arm, winch, special cameras, spectrometer and a firefighting monitor.
Reach up to 65 m: M2 firefighting monitor for extinguishing with foam and water
For the monitor, MAGIRUS relies on the M2 (optionally M1) by FireDos in its Oval Flat Design. This 24V powered water cannon is suitable for extinguishing with foam and water. It delivers up to 2,000 l/min of water, with a remarkable reach of 65 m. The developer Alpha Robotics additionally equipped the monitor with powerful LED spotlights and cameras (normal/thermal vision) for better operation from a distance.
